Hello weekend
Dear Rose,
How are you? I started a book recently, it is a philosophy book I borrowed from Rizqin. There is a saying from it, ' happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.' I guess I am doing it quite politely.
I am missing the days in university a bit while I am quite enjoying with the life I have now. It had already been a while I voyaged backward to home. Trying to figure on plans while engaging myself in further possibilities and opportunities out there.
As usual, I practice and do preparation on weekdays, while orchestra rehearsals and private lessons happen on weekends. Thinking of if I train myself to wake up early in the morning, I probably can spend more time on books and other fun stuffs.

Today at 10 a.m. I had my second private lesson with Marques, every two weeks. Again I met his mysterious friends - Marxy and 'Baby' two adorable cats. Marques always never failed to acknowledge my little laziness. I read a post, ' In life, we would realize our weaknesses and definitely people who are much stronger and better than us in some circumstances. We must not avoid. Learn to admit and overcome all the doubts we have, from there we have grown.' I am glad that I have people guiding me throughout the journey of knowing myself, thank you. I realized Marques does have his collection of books at home, he probably loves reading too.
I headed to Petronas Filharmonik Hall (DFP) in the afternoon. Brett met me at 1:30 p.m. for tutorial lesson. Last week we played duet exercise but this time we started off with some proper breathing gym. He is really good at giving detailed explanations with his self demonstrations, totally a smart and more serious guy. I love both serious Brett and brother-like Marques. Marques played the piano while speaking to me about some jazz technique tips which I still hardly apply, fun!
At 2:30 p.m. I had my first chamber music session in Weekly Intensive Training (WIT) program guided by MPO (trumpet and horn players). Such a perfect ice breaker, finally I am feeling the relations in between me and friends from MPYO brass besides getting to know several professional brass musicians from MPO, totally inspiring! I bumped into a guest trombonist from Berlin orchestra - Jamie, at the soloist practice room. Work hard and efficiently, I am quite looking forward to my first chamber concert together!

I am joining Aswara group for student big band recording project rehearsal. Probably I can do so much better next time by preparing myself both mentally and physically. A musician should not become choosy in any kind of music, I am glad that I am given the opportunity to learn and explore.
Time is never enough, it is chasing me off.
I would love to surround myself with just practice, in order to play good music for instant. And of course, I have to pass my audition only with more than the best I can prepare. Just as Marques said, ' they will expect from you more than just playing all correct notes. So, practice more than you eat. ' It sounds cruel, but it is so true.
I always control my greediness, for not overthinking. Honestly, I love arts in all forms. I would love to do calligraphy, painting, dance, strum guitar, sing all day, read poetry, watch movies, write letters and etc. Simply for my passion in music, I would love to play piano, write lyrics and songs, compose, conduct and perform. According to a Chinese calligrapher saying, ' if you only do one thing for a lifetime, how can it not become success? ' That would definitely answer my confusion, stay focus and ... ' persistent. ' - Leonard Yeap.
