Hello October fall!

Dear Rose,

I guess myself would be doing nothing for this period of time before further my degree study, but eventually I am not.

This is the time I get to meet up with old friends and quickly catch up with things I missed out. Poetry would say, friendships are like stars. So, here's my stargazing: -

Check out the Aquaria KLCC, what a beautiful social place to make aquatic friends. Interesting questions and ideas kept popping up in mind, which imagination claimed. Moon jellyfish is made up of 95% water, what about the other 5% ? Although bloody big sharks are frightening, but in fact they are all guardians of the ocean. I think humans who killed sharks and raped their fins are even cruel; Seahorses are simply adorable; I got to touch sea cucumbers and starfish, kinda adventurous; I guess some people just think going to the Aquaria is childish thing, but for me to remember how tiny I am as a human out of many many infinite creatures in the ocean and universe, this is truly fascinating! And I would say, what a romantic date!

Oh ya, I still remember my friend, Le Ming, okay let's call her new name/ Beatrice, she said I am complicated and deep. Well I guess it's true. Sometimes I can only understand myself better from people who know me clear. Anyhow, I will keep trying to deliver my words and thoughts before blaming people for not being able to understand myself. Thank you all, my guiding stars.

Been seeking for a job all this while, but I am giving up. I guess I should focus more on audition preparation and orchestra rehearsals. I have no time for job other than music practice. Currently I got a new trombone teacher whom is the principle trombonist from Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra - Marques Young. I had my first trombone lesson with him on 3rd October 2015, Saturday. I was really exciting and grateful for getting an excellent teacher.

4th October 2015, Sunday. KLPac Symphonic Band sectional in the morning. That was the first brass sectional since I joined the group. Tay Kai Yee, me and Kenji in the trombone section. I still have a lot to catch up with both of them especially Kenji/ trombone player from Japan, his sound is really good. After lunch at M.A.D, Sunway Putra Mall, my family and I moved to Tenby School Shah Alam for 18th Open Recital/ Classical Music Asia.

Lance told me that Encik Mustaqim would be performing too. I was near to tears while hearing Encik Mustaqim started to play. I never knew I would miss his trombone sound so much. That was the warmest sound that pulled me throughout my years in UPSI, my favorite calling! Lance did so well for his euphonium solo performance. Trombone quartet formed by Lance, Aisyam, Mustaqim and Rizqin was beautiful, I like their harmony.

Mum was asking me to perform for a recital, I was considering it too. Recital performance is a really good practice for amateur musician like me to overcome stage fright and anxiousness. I will keep practicing hard to achieve a higher level of music playing - making difficulty seems effortlessly. Thanks Lance for telling me useful information about music study in Taiwan, wish me luck!
