17 Have Faith
Dear Rosé,
“Have faith. ” - Michael Veerapan
"... it’s a privilege to be playing music, but also that we’re doing this instead of working a menial job, like somebody in a coal mine or someone who is growing crops. That we’re not doing something that provides people with their basic needs, like food or shelter but that we’re providing something extra. And that in order for us to do that, we have to eat the staples from other people’s work every day, so we have a built-in obligation to other people. He’d remind us that it’s our job as a musician, that we owe it to people to bring them out of their difficulties for a minute and into a higher place." - Andy Hunter
